Condensation may build naturally within your tank as the air gets more humid due to temperature fluctuations. Condensation-induced water buildup can corrode the metal inside your tank. This is also referred to as corrosion. It’s best to keep your tank full all-year-round to prevent condensation from forming.

• Prevent moisture buildup at all costs. The high moisture content of the air might cause condensation inside your oil tank, which can lead to corrosion. If the corrosion gets out of hand, you’ll need to schedule repairs, or the oil tank may need to be replaced entirely.
